2 VP positions in corp eliminated :
- VP Marketing Operations at Macy's
- VP Executive Creative Director at Macy's
Their responsibilities were merged into their directors below them.
A team of Project Management moving to the LIC faccility.
Not many cuts in terms of online creative teams, exception of the 2 VP's.
Macys again moving into new branding & company sales remain in the red.
I felt obligated to share as i have relied on this forum for information, i am going to try to detatch now as i find reading and digging for inside news doesnt serve my mental health.
I wish all well,hopefully you have another 12 months of solid income, but i do believe if you dont want to feel the instability / security of the future of macys slowly make plans to improve your well being. I personally could not handle the mental mania and needed to leave. It has helped my peace of mind tremendously.
