Because of greedy crooks the government had to bail this useless company with public money. The management shows a violent hatredness towards employees so mass layoffs.

The company cares about the bottom line not any employees.

Unless you have a contract, all states but Montana are at will employment.

Any employee without a contract can be terminated at any time and without notice as long as the reason is legal.

That is how employment works in the US. That is the risk all non union employees without a contract face.

AIG has been eliminating US based jobs by the thousands for over 15 years.

To be fair, a lot of H1's underperform.

The company has never cared about person of color or Asians. So irrespective they will be sc--wing non whites both front and back.

You have a narrow perspective if you think H1-B visa holders make up a significant percentage much less the majority of US employees.

Also not how things work. Managers who are at the pocket money level have no power or influence over these decision.

Where H1-B is used as intended the expense is necessary and justified.

If the company believes an employee or role is replacable with a lesser experienced or lower cost alternative then the same risk of layoff applies to visa and non visa employees.

Companies have to pay for managing H1 which could run in several dollars. Since both the companies are made majority of H1 candidates they can sc--w them up for extra management pocket money.
