Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

Any more surprises this week?

To those affected—don’t take it to heart. You’ll find something better, and you'll eventually be glad you’re no longer part of this sh-tshow.

Spare us. 4 hours after it was posted and +113? Get a life instead of posting politically partisan BS then hitting refresh on a private browser tab 113 times (yes kids that’s the secret if you’re on a private browsing tab and refresh you can just keep hitting the plus sign to give your own stupid post 113 likes)

TD's ignorant acceptance of DEI policies and her personal interest in her own $11M annual incentives, WD's cowardly acceptance of the multi-year Texas tax incentive opportunities, SD's unethical association with Accenture, and middle managements reluctance to do the right thing, brought the company to this point. The President's new Department of Government Efficiency team has already been provided the initial information needed to sink this ship.

Is there another announcement for layoffs expected next week? Any idea what departments? Or size #?

You guys shouldn't be complaining because T doesn't give a SH***T about any of you. Spend sometime to update your resume and get the F out of here.

What have they done? I ask this earnestly. Clients are now more at risk, and there’s so many that had left who proudly served them. What on earth were they thinking?

T in Davos talking about retirement security and at the same time cutting her own employees.

Morale at TIAA is at an all-time low.

Heart goes out to everyone impacted by the announcement this week and next.

Must be nice that our CEO is enjoying Switzerland while the worker bees are suffering. Cutting our CEO’s travel expenses would far outweigh the cost savings from these reductions.

It is sickening and tone deaf for TIAA leaders to keep preaching “we are doing this from a position of strength”…

What a mess. I miss the days when Roger was leading. He would lead from the front.

On the Denver “go away” call the other day they said that Denver people with a separation date are safe til their date unless something unexpected happens.
