Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Leadership Mis-management

Each year merit increases are reduced due to company under-performance. Doesn’t cover the cost of living. Those receiving bonuses as part of their total pay…expected to get little to nothing for 24/7 work. How is that competitive with other companies or helping to retain talent? Are the leadership team members still receiving their total package??? Of course.

store brands are the future, there is no value to the consumer in buying an overpriced "premium" name brand that offers nothing more when compared to a store brand.

Ummm, no. Bonus is part of your total compensation. At Pepsi and/or any other company you go. It’s brainwashing to say it’s just “extra”. Our senior leaders owe us answers why their strategies are so poor and misguided.

No wonder - just lost another large customer - Costco. They need to make the difference up somewhere. They are pricing themselves out of the market. More and more customers buying store brand.

To tell you the truth. I've never relied on the bonus. I'm actually surprised they're still giving them out the way they're laying off and handing out VRPs. Hey Ramon...you want people to leave, stop the bonus program. There will be no reason for anyone to stay anymore. It's just a stick-and-carrot to keep people here. Leadership likes to get it as a way to justify their incompetence.
