Most folks are impacted in CA… n level continuing at all levels … is it end of auto industry?

Not end of auto but end of NXP in US for most part.
If selling in the usa and growin in the Netherlands, then good. Go for it NXP, you're a Dutch company not an american one.
Laid off 60% of my team including myself. Not many engineers left except managers. Besides, you left to listen microeconomic condition bullsh-t while company is acquiring businesses and expanding teams in Pune, India.
It is the end of NXP doing business in the US. Maybe the new administration will put a magnifying glass on how NXP is getting rid of their assets in the US? Maybe. Only god knows but at least it will make it harder for their board to continue doing so
