Cisco AI Summit - Hit or Flop?

Stock has moved up, will this be the deal breaker to thrust upwards and onwards?

Any Cisco employees were allowed to attend and how was the response internally?

If you listened to Cisco AI Summit, CR stated loud and clear, AI efficiency can save 30% of labor. Simple and out there. Go figure.

Some interesting stuff, and then there was Fran who never misses a chance to hang with Ariana Huffington no matter how unrelated it is.

CSCO stock is just riding the market trend, as it always does

I doubt anyone really thinks Cisco is an AI company

Cisco could have used its resources to buy its way into the AI market, but instead they purchased Splunk and are now desperate to "explain" how it is somehow related to AI

They really blew it on Splunk, its a yesteryear company with yesteryear tech addressing solved problems from the past...meanwhile all of the A players in tech are deploying capital for what is coming next

These mistakes won't ki-l Cisco, but they will cement it as a B-player in tech just scavenging the remains of the A-players

I thought it was good, more from a standpoint of who to apply for and invest in. After the Summit I realized we are just a utility for AI and not an actual player. Standing on the sidelines while the real money is made elsewhere. Even some of the speaker basically said that Cisco was irrelevant
