Not just VPs but Directors and Managers also have to lead by example.

Cisco has been largely remote since well before covid, it's not going to change now. YES, some teams are RTO but the majority of our roles have never been required in office. I have been with Cisco for 6 years and have only been in an actual office 14x.

This RTO is for Federal employees only.

I will return to work when the SVPs and VPs that are asking for this actually show up for work in a Cisco office on a daily basis. This topic is so funny to hear when everyone you see on the Webex is clearly at home. Poss Off lead by example, and if you can't leave. You are not a Leader

Cisco is good, I highly doubt we'd have any RTO mandates because it would not benefit anyone. Of course I never thought I'd possibly lose my job for refusing an experimental gene therapy vaccine either but that stupid sh-t actually happend so who knows, I wouldn't put it past Cisco to do it if the wind blows that direction

I think if Cisco did this, they would have to buy back some buildings they sold off...

This really depends on the team I think. My organization has been fully remote since covid. Like my immediate team is spread all over the United States. I can however see them just laying off everyone since we only hire in India now. I think that is more likely than trying to do an RTO for absolutely everyone. I could be totally wrong though, Cisco’s not the smartest company.

If no WFH, I will quit. I can get another remote job easily.

I'd sooner quit than RTO. I commuted one hour each way and sat in an office all day for many decades & don't want (refuse!) to do it anymore.
