DEI is garbage and does nothing but breed hated. It is inherently racist. Would you prefer a surgeon that was hired on merit or a diversity quota?
I believe that the new President stated that any private company that accepts any government funding would not get any if they were running any DEI programs. Doesn't CVX get some gov funding?

In CVX, as anyone actually worked with someone unqualified that could in some ways be explained by DEI. I've only ever worked with incompetence bc they knew someone who knew someone to get in or they were an untouchable lead. I can only think of examples OUTSIDE of cvx

Diversity is great, as long as I work only with people who think like me. It’s shocking to think there might be others sitting in the same building that don’t hold my beliefs. Icky!

The company performance has nothing to do with D&I. And if you have not been promoted it's because they picked someone better or better connected, certainly not because of DEI policies
D&I is great when run by the right people. Very sad to see this kind of racist and misogynistic comments in this board. I am fully aware of the existence of horrible people but to work with them is extremely disturbing.
