I mean, if it's not February, someone will ask about March. Then April. Then May. Then June. You get the idea. Eventually someone is right.
Oh my, here we go again. Will Wichita location be impacted?
I was told today that we can’t backfill two positions due to hiring freeze.
Work relationships are a benefit but someone still needs to perform correct? Please don't tell me NetApp is different.
Acquisitions are the only ones who get targeted all the time. New skills are considered threat :) Most people at NetApp have been there for 10+ years and remain unaffected, NOT because they're exceptional at their work, but because of their long-standing relationships :)
January ones turned out to be true for Spot - they are already cutting loose people before March. Sales is hit.
where do I sign up?
Will NetApp Wichita (E-Series) be impacted? Any ideas?
Some say they're going to do it late in January, but it's most likely to happen in early-mid February. This will be after performance evaluations, and evaluations will be taken into consideration. Rumor has it, leadership at the director and VP level is asking their direct managers for data on their direct reports to make informed decisions on who gets the axe or not. It's going to be a bumpy ride.
I have suspicion there will be one after Q3 ends. My entire team has been made aware that upper leadership is reviewing our individual contributions. It could be normal but I have a gut feeling that they’re just auditing and selecting who to put on a list.
Is there truth to February rumors?
