Very few EHS personnel still around at 3M Center, the ones that are, are looking. We see comical safety initiatives. We see no accountability from those who denied funding to improve / upgrade plants/lines, year after year. Our managers that are forced to sell these ridiculous ideas are mocked. From a high level view, if you are a 10yr+ employee you are on a list.

@OP you’ve no idea what you’re talking about
@OP no idea what you’re talking about
@OP and yet safety performance is the best in decades…what are you talking about? About time you faced the facts, stopped listening to gossip and focused on results and not bureaucracy.
Safety has become an excuse to avoid starting new experiments. It works out for people who do not want to work hard. I don’t blame them either
Not fast enough payback to do solar panels in plants, go figure.
How many fatalities have occurred at 3M under tireman? At least 3 come to mind. He does not care about safety, but he loves telling that story about his grandfather getting injured in a mining accident to try and act like he does.
3M is a joke. Safety is a catchphrase marketed by PG and other leaders as a critical element of culture. In reality it’s hollow talk and inaction behind closed doors. 3M’s investment is in SELLING safety products. Similar to safety, 3M sold solar film to anyone willing to support energy and environmental initiatives, but beyond a few obviously placed panels at the innovation center, 3M has negligible solar panels at 3M locations. All talk and no walk when it comes to backing a culture that would benefit its own sales and products.
