I despise the prima donnas who are tardy everyday. They are undependable, miss work, meetings and other responsibilities. Incidentally these are the same people who have endless coffee breaks, talks politics and leave work early.
My guess is you were on a PIP and failed to listen. Don’t let the door hit you in the a-s on the way out.
Showing up to work on time is something you learn when you’re 16
And if you’re fired for cause…no severance.
That sounds like FIRED for cause... not Laid off.
