Thread regarding Collins Aerospace layoffs

Is next week safe?

Is there a way to know if last week's layoffs are done or if they'll continue next week and beyond?

Those cuts are weird. I was cut and then rehired years later with a massive pay raise.

Collins, P&W, Airbus are out sourcing their work to India. I work at Collins. A friends son that works at Collins has been in India training software engineers. Aerospace companies in this area are laying off. Blue Origin just laid off many workers. L3 Harris had 2 since last year. Collins moving products to be built to the Collins in Mexicali Mexico. The hand writing is on the wall.

Collin’s is not laying anyone off. This is a false rumor

The rumor says there will be a second round of layoffs. The reason is Oakville has lost Boeing 747 contract to a smaller company.

Guess who's paying the price?
Employees, of course!
