Federated Co-op has “paused” their plans for canola crushing and renewable diesel plant. Insider information suggests they are eyeing buying the LEP and MEP to supply the ethanol to produce renewable diesel & jet. See LanzaJet news release.
Without the service stations, ethanol is a dud business for the company.
