Hey FTC - now look into unfair PepsiCo pricing tactics in the restaurant industry. It’s standard practice for the company.

This company is pathetic to the core. I would expect something better out of a Fortune 500 company. Sounds like someone forgot to practice what they preach to the Frontline Sales team.

….. “ I don't see how customers are ‘put at a disadvantage’ by pepsico offering…”

C’mon Ramon, seriously?

**Shareholders will soon be footing a huge settlement just because Ramon hasn’t been doing his mandatory anti-trust training / certifications

IT’s THE LAW

While we think it's business as usual, it offers unfair advantages to large volume vendors. How can a Mom & Pop store compete when they're buying 5 cases at $35/cs and Walmart buys 500 cases at $22/cs? Or when small format customers struggle to hit the Minimum Order Quantity that Walmart can do easily. Mom & Pops have to price higher to make a small margin of profit which sent consumers to these big box stores to save a buck.

Let's face it - Walmart has been driving our business for a very long time, forcing us to change our invoice formats, short customers based on warehouse loading, change our DSD and GTM software and processes, change our volume pricing models, etc. Mom & Pops never stood a chance.

I don't see how customers are "put at a disadvantage" by pepsico offering one of the largest, cheapest retailers a "deal" that most Americans have access to-- at the same time when more Americans are buying private label anyway lol. Walmart is already fortune 1 on the fortune 500 and the gov wants to sue PepsiCo for offering unfair advantages? As they ban tik tok to force Americans to use social platforms they bought stock in? Talk about unfsir advantages. Everyday makes less sense lmao
