I had to return all items. And no, hybrid worker Bundle is not worth it.

You don't have to return the Meraki kit. The only thing that gets returned is your laptop. Got a Deskpro? That sh-t is yours now.

You CAN repurpose the CVO. You'll have to change the config register so you can boot to ROMMON and wipe the configuration, and the licensing... But it's definitely possible. I just did it last week. No special serial cable is needed, just a micro USB connector on one end (or an adapter).

The Cisco equipment is a brick now once they disable it since you can’t go and re-provision it especially with the Meraki products. I don’t think the older CVO routers are tracked and disabled; therefore, I’m pretty sure you can use them in your home.

At my last refresh, my manager & I discussed the items in the hybrid bundle and decided to pass on it because I wouldn't use most of it, but now I don't have the MVO to have hardware VPN access instead of connecting via AnyConnect/Secure Client. I need to figure out how to order the MVO only as I do think that is worth it.

As to returning equipment, the Cisco policy is that you have to return any/all Cisco purchased equipment. The reality is that it's really up to the manager's to ask you for any purchased equipment and to keep track of what they've bought for you. In the past, in addition to the leased laptop that you have to return, Cisco used to purchase an extra power supply, a docking station for Lenovo's, and any dongles appropriate for Lenovo's or Mac's. Also, when you first joined, BU's would buy you a keyboard, mouse/trackpad, and monitor (back in the in-the-office days). The reality is that they mainly care about the leased laptop because it has to be returned to the leasing company and it hits their budget when you don't return it, so you get reported as keeping/stealing the laptop. The cheap stuff like keyboards, mice/trackpads, docking stations, and/or power supplies, they don't care about. Due to the size of monitors, and the cost/difficulty of shipping them, they don't usually ask to have monitors returned, but again, that's a case-by-case basis decided by the individual manager. The camera, headset, etc. that are part of the hybrid worker bundle are cheap and they don't care about them or track them because it would cost more to ship them back than it costs to just buy the next employee a new set. And no one wants to wear a used headphone that someone else used.

The MVO, OTOH, I have no idea about, but I can see them wanting that back because it allows access to Cisco's network. I'm sure they can disable it, but whether or not that simply means it can't connect to Cisco and you can use it for other purposes or if it bricks it, I have no idea.
