The incompetence of staff under RT reflects a deeper issue within GF's system. These individuals mastered the art of appearing indispensable, ensuring their survival on the payroll despite adding little to no real value to the company. Simply removing RT or similar Senior VPs is unlikely to spark meaningful change, as the entire system appears deeply corrupted and dysfunctional. Addressing these systemic flaws is the only way GF can hope to regain its footing and achieve sustainable progress. Anything less is wishful thinking.
Agreed long long overdue. It’s time hold others like him accountable and oust them as well. Party is over and has been over for some time now
It’s no surprise that RT’s departure was long overdue, given the damage he and his outsourcing strategy inflicted on the PDK group. He managed to dismantle a once top-tier team by surrounding himself with a clique of "yes men" and unqualified individuals, all while pushing out talented employees who actually knew how to get the job done. The so-called leaders he kept close were nothing more than apple-polishers — directors or senior directors who couldn’t land managerial roles elsewhere but knew how to kiss up just enough to stay on the payroll or climb the corporate ladder.
RT’s exit is no consolation if the damage he and his inner circle caused continues to haunt the company. Let’s hope GF can turn things around before it’s too late, but the mess left behind by this crew will take years to clean up.
The only good news is they fired SVP RT a few months back realizing his outsourcing strategy took a top notch PDK group coming from IBM and ran it into the ground with a bunch of low-cost newbies who never stick around. The real issue is GF must be differentiated and there has been nothing novel going on in the PDK for many years under RT so now the PDK is lagging competitors significantly!! Clowns like RT and his buddy TB are slowly ki-ling GF. The funny part is RT got eaten himself and is gone, heard flipping burgers somewhere, really don't care!!
