Thread regarding Medical Solutions layoffs

So did layoffs just never stop?

It seems like every time I go on LinkedIn more employees are looking for work. I was in the first round and I’m sad to continually see good people let go. Is it a constant trickle across teams?

Not true. People aren’t being offered other jobs within the company.

The ones you seen on LinkedIn looking for jobs, got new jobs within the company all of them so things are not as bad as you think. Don’t let their drama stunt fool you.

Or it could be the fact that the good employees are so overworked and drowning that they’re giving up. That’s what happens when you let go a mass amount of people and then over work the remaining few that are left with no pay increases when competitors are offering 15k more than what you make more.

The layoffs came and they don’t stop coming and they don’t stop coming and they don’t stop coming

That's what it's been for the past year. The layoffs just haven't stopped completely. They let go of 3-4 people a week to keep lawsuits at bay and then every couple months let go of a bunch of people and then go back to 3-4 weekly. A former manager chimed in a few months back about how that has been playing out for the past year and the reasoning behind it if you go back through the treads here.

We've noticed that after an all company meeting or town hall meeting a week or two after is usually a big reduction in force. Then, back to 3-4 people weekly to avoid tipping off the state or people that could actually sue. (Not like it wouldn't be the first or even second time the company has been sued before - that's all public record). But ultimately what they have been doing for the past year + has been illegal if you read up on the laws about RIF.

Hope that gave some insight.
