There was no merit rewards (pay or RSU's) or promotions for the mid-year performance review. That stuff comes a month or so after the year-end performance reviews, not the mid-year.
It may be possible for a manager to do something out of cycle, but that's a person-by-person case-by-case basis. It's definitely not the norm.

For those walking on water -yes there may be a small bump or something mid year. The other 98% don't warrant it. If you are just bumbling by now I'm guessing you are going to have a rude awakening at EOY. I anticipate those actually doing the extra will be rewarded better this time around. The others should see no more compassion bonuses and merit increases.

Cisco turned into a company where only those kissing their bosses a-s all the time, are seen as adding value, getting increases and marked as exceeding or meeting expectations. And these managers often should never have entered Cisco, but their useless buddies brought them in.
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind getting severance. This place is heading down the tubes, it’s time to find the exit. 😂

The last cycle was by far my worst. Very very low RSUs and tiny raise. I was pretty disappointed. I don’t see that being any different now though unfortunately.

I had no idea there was a promo / salary increase cycle for 1H. I had my talent assessment but got nada. I did get a decent pay bump in the last cycle though.
Those with connections will get promoted . Doesn’t matter what they know , qualifications or delivering results . It’s who you know not what you know golden rule .
No rewards. Manager said they needed to bring others on the team up to salary MMR. 🙄 So some people got stuff regardless of their performance and rest of the team got the shaft.
Irrelevant of your outstanding performance, you are rated as "Average". Average employees will receive a "Constructively Dissatisfied" low performance review. Those with no integrity or skill will be promptly promoted.
