Westlake Parking Garage

What is the reason (if any) that leadership cannot alternate WFH days by building to help alleviate traffic and commute time? Doesn’t have to be a massive reduction either, even 1-2 less days in office per month split across campus would go a long way. The solution is easily implemented and would result in improved morale almost immediately. The employees are not at fault for not being able to build a parking garage properly. Is it just to increase overall misery and force more attrition?

Because that would actually make sense, but that’s not something they’re interested in trying to do

I find it comical when they talk about RTO, and they have no plans to change the current plan “as long as we keep our commitments to coming into the office 3 days a week.”

What exactly did we commit to? I don’t remember agreeing or signing anything. Be honest. The EC gave us a directive.

Now a commitment would look like “we know the parking situation su-ks, so we’re going to let you pick your in office days, as long as you commit to 3 days a week.” They could easily track it and hold people accountable. They already track it, they’re just not telling anybody.

That would require the EC to actually use their brains. However as evidenced by their choices the past 5 years it seems most likely that they don’t have one

If anyone gets a chance they need to ask EC why their reserved parking is still opened in garage 1

Also the answer to your question is simply that this company can’t fathom doing nice things for employees
