Headcount will be reduced to zero

No breakup

No more Intel

I tried to do this in joke form but nobody liked that either

Plz downvote show me we still have fighting spirit

Think they’ll hit that $10B cost savings commitment this year?

Headcount must be reduced to 60,000 to be cost competitive with TSMC and Samsung. Remember Samsung just got rid of 137 vice presidents

15% post-Q1 / early Q2 and then another 10% after Q3, but with random backfill happening throughout the year

May be no need of layoff as very high attrition already happening across company…

Intel are hiring Techs in my location, jobs online...Looks like headcount is going to increase for now at least.
If there are going to be layoffs, I would bet they will be much later in the year if they happen, but that's purely speculation of course...

Ask the interweb how to list IDMs by employee size. We are 50k more than TSMC to begin with. I would argue rolling 10k per year until the decision is made on foundry / prodco staying together or splitting

25K split into two phases as 15k first shortly after Q1 earning then 10k after Q3 earnings. Q2 will be the trust and hope restoration period by the ELT. Getting the larger layoff done early in 2025 will leave time for the remaining employees before the second wave will hit. The biggest concern of managers now is attrition most are arranging meetings with employees to see where they stand. They are doing this now right before the very limited promotions to deliver them to the people who remain committed or to the indispensable ones to desperately convince them to stay. I am afraid most promoted people will leave anyways while asking for even higher compensations from their new employers.

Not enough. Based on history the new guy should ask hr for their number then triple it!

10,500 is a number that Intel has done many times in the past.
