Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Exxon taking over

Could someone please let the Exxon heritage management know that they can’t run the Permian Basin like they did their offshore platforms. It’s ridiculous to think you can run efficiently onshore trying to over complicate everything like they did offshore.

The WMS permitting is a prime example of something that makes everyone’s job harder and doesn’t actually make any job safer. The safety incidents are the same as before they forced WMS on everyone.

How about training people on how to safely do their job like XTO used to do and they would get better results. Plus quit hiring so many incompetent contractors and actually hire people directly with the company. They will never hire any good people when they force everyone to work as a contractor before having a chance to be hired.

Rex understood that XTO needs to be operated differently. Darren clearly doesn’t understand UNCON. Hipos suddenly interested jn XTO after years of turning down assignments and are now eager to “make an impact” with their contributions by changing things, claiming impact to receive high ranking / promotion, and then moving on to a new assignment before they even understand UNCON

Laughed Out loud. Had safety guy In Wells walk across and over full 8000 psi live frac lines and did not know what lines where energized or not; was DEI hire one eyed man in the land of two eyes wide open crew. What afxxtard and allowed to stay an employee by sr wells management; that is when I said I’m out of fccn dodge. Just a matter of time before the Wells organization drops xom share price by 20% because of lack of experience and knowledge in how to drill wells.

Yes Mr submarine guy or aka burner phone dude.

Ghg and the cameras at the end of the day were a ploy for Darren to keep the regime off their backs. Plus don’t forget the almighty PDS.

If you are 3-5 years in, you’d be better off getting with some buddies and start your own company.

What’s bad is the next thing they are going to do is install AI cameras across the field to make sure you wear your PPE. I miss the old oilfield days, but I guess they are gone for good. This industry used to be for manly men and now it’s being taking over by low testosterone men and a bunch of DEI hires.

To the person commenting get on board or go, I will say Exxon/XTO have always paid just a little more than their competitors so it’s tough to jump ship.
They also know most of the bigger companies have similar BS policies.

I wish they would just let me sign a waiver to not sue them and let me do my job the way I want to do it. No JSA’s, no stupid permits, no getting work authorization from someone who doesn’t even know how to do my job, and no ICC forms for LOTO.

Looks to me the guy Pickett assigned to roll out WMS did well a 3 out of 10 job. It’s different everywhere. Also the web portal is worse than enrolling at BCBS or MetLife. Folks need to speak up. When I say folks like Supers and managers. You guys get paid big time to let the rest of us struggle. Get in the game and help out. Also the guy I’m talking about got sponsorship from the La Quinta guy. Think about it!

Let me guess, accountability and responsibility was split up across a bunch of teams and now the execs over those teams want to justify their accomplishments.

I’ve told the safety people the only reason they are forcing us to do work permits is so we can’t sue the company if we get hurt. It has nothing to do with safety. If they cared about safety they would hire competent people instead of DEI hires.

Lol. Exxon took the Basin around 2017.That means you are new in the area. Be careful with the Darren’ Acolytes like the one who answer your comments in the first place trying to be a funny person.
