First comment, yes. Worked in the office less. Edited the pandemic and some groups less than I did. Things are ridiculous.

You seem really fixated on the “parents’ basement” idea. Maybe you can’t retire because you have kids living in your basement who you need to support? But trust me hon, Fidelity doesn’t “need” more mediocre middle managers hanging around. You’re here because you need the money.

I will talk to you like your preschool teacher would … your job is to worry about you not others. Grow up child!

I’m still here because I need to manage you children, without a clue on how this great company can benefit your career growth. Grow up children! Stand on your own instead of living in your parents basement.

Yeah, if you’re a boomer and still working here, I’m wondering what you did wrong in life. You can save SO much money in your 401k, you should have been able to retire already.

Word! All the boomers deserving of VBO got it already. Only the non- deserving slackers of their generation are here today

It’s very true that people have become so concerned about attendance that they come in sick or bring in sick kids. It now makes more sense to come in with cold or flu or rsv symptoms than risk getting a rumored zero for the week, which might impact your bonus.

They can’t even get people in 2 weeks in a month I don’t think they can swing full time in office. But yeah I think we are headed in that direction which no one wants

It’s all about rewarding presenteeism. Do they actually care about the work getting done? People are worried about not getting their badge swipe so they bring their sick kids into the office. They are in a tough spot, but common sense has gone out the door. I’m over the linked in marketing about how energized people are to be in the office. Simmer down and let me get some quiet so I can do my work in peace.

The reason why we can't have a VBO is because the younger workers can't carry the load.

The younger workers are too busy drinking designer lattes and can't be bothered with REAL work.

Thanks, brats!!!

Fighting amongst ourselves is a win for Fidelity. How about we all focus on the puppet master?

Good morning children, for many years us old timers have worked in office without a wfh option, not a problem for us. Children, wake up!! This is not a college country club, it’s a great company built by us old timers. Stop crying!!

Ah yes. It's the old timers who have no talent.

Well, that may be. But Abby is a billionaire and regardless of how she became one that means you're a failure.

Makes people feel better to compare to other companies versus comparing to our own history right? Meaning, many people used to have far more flexibility at Fidelity that they no longer have.
