Has anyone heard of any layoffs happening today and in what roles? I know of a few that happened today on the business side, curious how widespread.

There were mass layoffs. The ceo has said nothing about the number of people lost. She did post a Linked In note finished with "can't wait to continue to drive momentum in 2025". Poor timing for all those laid off and Lumen should be sued for misleading the public and its employees/former employees about the state of the company and peoples jobs.

Enterprise sales at Lumen was impacted by layoffs. I know of one personally.
6 Sales Engineers and 3 SE managers were RIFed...(Tuesday) - i heard 7% workforce reduction...almost 1,000 people!

20% 0f CS, plus many other roles. Only way for the company to show a positive balance sheet is to reduce headcount. Enterprise Sales is not where they want them to be. All the big announcements of deals with Microsoft and Corning look good, but the underlying business is still in peril. There is no customer service left. CS is just an extension of sales. All the flowery words used by them are just that, flowery words. ' The millions wasted on 'Dare to Lead' really ticks me off. Ashley Haynes-Gaspar & Jay Burrow should be terminated as well. In my mind both are useless, vapid "Lumenaries."

I just saw someone post they're open to work on LinkedIn. It looks like they were in channel sales (not sure if that's Enterprise or Mass Markets). It says they were laid off from Lumen yesterday.
Yesterday several directors and VPs were laid off. I heard today is IC layoffs
