I think it would be smart to accommodate as many transfers to go forward doors from G-B doors as humanly possible because it’s not like go forward doors don’t desperately need the help. Unfortunately though, I believe it’s more likely that they will cut people in go forward doors to make room for SOME transfers while others just get lost in the sauce. I just don’t have faith that this company will try to take care of its employees.
In Reference to the comment about layoffs in 2023 and 2024, there was a mass layoff in 2024 too
Last time, there was a big layoff when Macy's C-suite attended the ICR conference in 2023. I couldn't find that they attended 2024 and are now attending 2025. Most likely to present a new shift in company culture, financials, and perhaps layoffs.
