Not many people left now and this is the worst work environment ever. I am just hanging on for my final payday.

So sad. Operations used to be a great place to work when Larry was still around. Everyone cared and wanted the company to succeed. Working into the evening or on weekends to ensure success. Then they started offshoring all of the IT to India. Then upper management saw how much money they were saving (1 TCS employee total cost of $27k a year)so began the offshoring of client facing roles, that's where the big problems started. TCS employees don't really care if Nielsen is successful. If it fails, they just start supporting Coke, P&G, Home Depot, as they have no skin in the game. I do remember a meeting where they said we need to stop calling TCS offshore, and the new name will be the OneShore team encompassing onshore and offshore resources. I couldn't believe they were serious.

Nielsen has turned from an aircraft carrier to the Titanic. Takes a huge crew to manage correctly with legacy knowledge. Take all that passion and knowledge away, hoping that offshore teams in the Philippines or India can keep it floating. They cannot see that it's sinking. I would be surprised if Nielsen was still around in 5 years.

Can't be that many. There are 5 of us left in the US in my department (there used to be 30+ before being offshored) and we are waiting for the axe too.
