Same with Poughkeepsie 1981-1984. Sad and demoralizing.
Sad what it's become. I remember being in Endicott in 1984 and IBM was everywhere. At noontime the sidewalks would be full of workers and a sea of white shirts and ties. Endicott was a thriving little town then.
