Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

XRX Stock Price

Closed below $8.50 today (Dec 31st)

Could be because of:

  • Poor management
  • Adding more debt by purchasing Lexmark
  • Continuing to think print is the future
  • Abysmal customer service

just think if you purchased a million dollars of Xerox Stock, it could be worth say 100K in a couple of years.

"Xerox is declining but not going away." Wishful thinking, that is a direct correlation to layoff.

Probability of bankruptcy shows the probability of financial torment over the next two years of operations under current economic and market conditions. Ultimately, Xerox's failure as result of its inability to adapt to changing market conditions. God save Queen. No future for you and Xerox is dreaming.

"Print is declining but not going away."

This site is about layoffs, not your wishful thinking about our future. Declining and consolidation means acceleration of layoffs. All corporate staff is duplicated it will start there. XRX employees will not be favored in the name of an efficient combination but that hardly matters because the engagement people at HCL,TCS, etc. are already yelling give it all to us for pennies on the dollar, We promise not to f it up this time.... HR, finance, accounting, OGC, IT, will all be at 200% on day one.

Yea, another one that doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Print is declining but not going away. Aquiring someone is better than being acquired. Four still working for the company, start helping it rather than hurting it.

"Which market are talking about?

Not in magnitude, just directionally and temporarily. No fundamentals at all and no reasons. The stock is just flopping around. Technical term...

“ XRX just follows the market up and down...”

  • Dow up 13% last year
  • Nasdaq up 31% last year
  • xrx down 52% last year

Which market are talking about? Is there a Zombie market?

I'm just catching up with recent Xerox events; they bought ITSavvy for $400 million, they bought Lexmark for $1.5 Billion.
So, they've increased the debt load and cut the dividend in half!!
I can't believe the stock price is as high as it is...???

XRX just follows the market up and down. There are no specific reasons except maybe another pathetic earnings call. My stock awards are trickling away!

Why do you even care? You don’t even work here. We know you’re outside on your break smoking at Taco Bell. Your shift manager is calling you to get back inside.
