Accenture will layoff about 10%.
Can this be confirmed or is this just somebody guessing and getting a kick out of making people worry and stress? I haven't heard or read anything that would support this so it would be really nice if somebody who has could share.

We also got acquired by ACN a couple of years a go, now we keep laying off all the time.
I heard they also had cuts in Consulting but not this much.
The layoffs will continue until morale improves (actually that's profit). Or we get past Xmas (maybe not).
I work for one of Accenture's many subsidiary companies and we were notified last week that there would be "ongoing layoffs" within our company thru the end of the year. Based on initial numbers, we are already over 10% of our FTEs laid off. The message delivered seemed to be coming from Accenture corporate. Everyone is anxious about what will happen next and upset at how it was rolled out.
It's very likely that they will get rid of 5-10%. That's what they do. Not reliable!
I hard they laid off 5% and might do more layoffs through January. All conjecture though
