Attrition rate at GBCs

Does any one know the attrition rate at the GBCs?

Are we able to retain top talent as EM offshores more work to these cheap / low-cost locations?

The old farts kept things running when the GBCs failed. Since all of those have retired, the knowledge has gone with them. Just a matter of time before something critical fails...

I know some of the GBCs and BTCs folks are getting assignments at the Houston campus.
We are training our replacements to take our desk.
Nice work EM.

I can speak for what I know. At the Prague GBC, attrition rate is high. Same causes, described below, have the same effects : pay below average, ridiculous workload and, coating on the cake, the EM red tape.
In some positions, you're almost permanently dealing with beginners, since incumbents often leave after a couple of years, when they start being reasonably competent at their job.
The whole system works more or less, as long as you still have some “old farts” who know the job in the HC10 countries to make up for the GBC blunders. But what will happen when they are eventually gone? Place your bets...

Let’s have actual feedback on the Asian office attrition. It is high at all levels. Once you get trained by XOM they can get a 30-50% pay bump. The best people with experience and capability (Yes there are some) are headhunted all the time.

We won’t pay the market rate so these offices will never really get to the level the company claims it will.

We don’t recruit top talent at any of the GBC’s , frankly the truly top talent has no interest in XOM and the absurdly low pay. We get medium to lower tier talent and yet still have double digit attrition. The only reason we do business in GBC locations is low cost and high quantity of workers, quality is a distant third in priority, like it or not that’s the truth.

EM is NOT an "American" company.
Durwood made that clear under oath to Congress just days ago.
What rock you geezers climb from under is hard to know.

Plenty of hotshots have left and continue to leave the GBCs on the IT side

Attriction rates? Why would any of them leave. Exxonmobil needs to be exposed for what they are doing. They should have to leave the United States 100% for betraying American employees!
