An arrogant manager with a big ego who constantly devalues other people's work for reasons known only to himself. All he does is pretend to be doing something useful, while at the same time demoralizing people more competent than himself, who end up going to places where they are paid more and valued more in every sense. How many good managers are here who are trying to get the best out of people because they care about this company? I think only a few.

Some managers and team leads are absolute bullies. They are inhuman and ruthless.
If you closely observe the people who occupy the leadership roles, the pattern of toxic narcissism will slowly unravel to you. Such behaviours are sadly encouraged and the management cartel cover each other’s back. Upstream is a fine example of how intellectually deficient clowns occupy leadership roles.
Company rewards these behaviors. So why change. Many managers that behave like this in our downstream sites.
