Enterprise Operations - Sourcing Restructuring

Heard that there are some major restructurings within EO sourcing department in the works. Anyone heard anything on it? Seems like there will be some redundancies there.

They don’t need to shuffle spots. They need to reduce either the JGs or eliminate jobs themselves. Having two flavors of LVS never made sense and it really doesn’t make sense to double up on director/VP level jobs.

Looks like another failed implementation of Advanced 3M operating model

Does this mean that EO will be dissolved?

There will be a big reconciliation between the BG and EO. Expect the plants to go back to the BG and no more LSS or area quality.

This is ongoing. Nothing secretive. Lots of comms in the function and it is normal there will be redundancies. The greater challenge is if the senior leaders will be able to do justice to what they inherit.

Should be a deep cut, headwind management reporting not needed

We need a real focus on negotiation and resilience
