Be honest. Why is Wal Mart raising the costs of everything storewide?

Someone who works there. Tell me why?

Aldi's is the place to shop to save. That thanksgiving rollback still has me laughing. 2021 prices i've seen them . As I recall items were rolled back to the regular prices after they were first raised . Most are greater value items. soup from .68 to .54 that's worth the trip.

First, the fact of the matter is that none of the Waltons set prices. They are pretty well insulated. Alice used to be more involved and so was Rob, but these days they are older and basically just wealthy stock holders. They have no real management duties or responsibility. So get off that horse. You can ding them for being insensitive and bad people, but they have no real say in anything.

There’s a complicated matrix of factors that drive prices. It’s not only the supplier, but transportation costs, warehouse costs, distribution center costs, shrink (theft), and so on. The absolute largest factor, however, is the cost from the suppliers.

Now on the other hand, Walmart sells plenty of items with little or no mark up, and some below cost. These are magnet items that people need line milk, diapers, etc. they are low cost to get you to shop more in the store.

Walmart is the largest grocery retailer in the US. Overall and by cart size, you’re going to spend less at Walmart. That’s a fact that. Do the research yourself.

It’s plain greed by the Walton’s. Look at how much they are worth. Get a brain. Pathetic they have billions of dollars and pay employees sh-t wages.

Lot of people are just piling on. Even if their cost cost haven’t gone up , they are still raising prices. Also I think everyone is getting paid $3-4/hour more than they made 5 years ago.

Kinda weird how a dremel polish kit labeled at $9.97 jumps to $16.97 and car wax spray that was $8.98 jumped to $19.97 in a matter of 5 DAYS!!!!

I get everything going up nationwide. I’m no fool. I called this bs way back in spring of 2020 when most of you b-ms sat on butts collecting unemployment checks and fed dropping interest rates to 1% printing unlimited money.

I wanted to know if this had anything to do with the Broncos sale or some inside info about massive price hikes?

The level of ignorance right here is astounding. Every store's prices are going up. So what they bought a team. I own a farm, pay people a fair wage, you think my profit dollars can not be spent on what I want. Again educate yourself before posting ignorance.

A walton bought $50 million in metals, gold and silver. Only Sam had his act together. Yes there is inflation but there is greed big time. No idea of the markup on groceries and general mechandise. Everyday low prices maybe in 2023 but not now. I guess you have to plan your shopping experience around your driving so as to not go out of your way. They are not in business for the customer or the associate but themselves and max profit.
