Pat and Sanjay were much better public speakers for VMware in years past. It all went downhill after both of them left.

Different pedigree. Raghu is a goon. Stays is a professional.

Another difference is that Satya didn’t go poopy in his pants.

Raghu was put in place to allow this to happen. They needed a CEO that could easily be moved and Dell is not a stupid man. If they wanted a leader to lead VMW the next 10 years and set them up for the future, they would have picked someone else. This is all part of the process we are going through. Heck it might have been step 2 in the entire process.

Raghu is one of the worst public speakers that ever existed.

He has no business being CEO of any company, let alone one of the largest software companies in the world. The dude seriously won the lottery by being in the right place at the right time. If Michael Dell had given a one cr-p about this company, he would have never made Raghu CEO.
