Many reasons. One overlooked is that they assume without validating that workers have the skills, knowledge and ability to perform their job role effectively.

Over the years lots of inept managers promoted individuals based on other factors and now these folks represent a larger % of the employee base (because they can’t go elsewhere).

I can think of a few orgs where these people are making decisions that drive cost and complexity up with no appreciable benefit. Going un-noticed by upper mgmt.

Upper mgmt is incentivized monetarily from above. Worker bees need to self-incentivize by getting the he-l out! No two ways about it.

This company is being run like our country, it only bennifits the people in charge. The rest of you take it in the shorts while the folks at the top tell everyone how great things are when you all know it’s collapsing as conditions worsen. The problem is you continue to accept it instead of doing something about it. Quit and vote…

Xerox is toast. Completely toast. In fact toaster was left on and started the house on fire. Lots of things are different….

Like living in a changing neighborhood, and your the last one to sell your home. You basically have to sell your house FHA to make pennies on the dollar. As the value of what you have worked for is diminishing day by day.

Xerox may have been great. But apparently history has made it’s judgement, and it’s not for the better.

Xerox selling Avocado Toast might be a bit more their speed now. 🥑

To 1lse+1jZ5si29: Xerox service is terrible because they made it terrible. Before these id--ts came on the scene, this was one of the best service organizations on the planet.

Beyond my abilities. Spoken like a true Elitist. I am certain you believe you are gods gift to man. Don’t flatter yourself.

Assignment…like copying names and addresses out of a phone book. Totally useless Your abilities are not looking too swift right now, Just so ya know.

I think upper management isn't clueless. They know the company is in bad shape. They know that Xerox' service is terrible. They are just trying to buy time until the company can be merged or sold.

The same way you can. The reason you think they are clueless is because you are assuming you understand their assignment. You don’t and it’s definitely beyond your abilities.

Brave man. Big shot. A real keyboard warrior. Move out of your parents basement and grow a set. It’s time.

I hope i make your little comments, totally unimportant, as they are a desperate cheap attempt to level the field here. Good luck pal.

Beyond Clueless. Outright Arrogance gone wild. The same look the Bitcoin king has on the news. “ i should have been more involved…” with puppy eyes, he states. Sorry about the money.

Ya Think? ….Betting they didn’t. And likely never had any intention to.
Xerox management is exactly the same way. Minus the 8 billion dollars missing.
At least as far as we know ….

What do you expect when you bring in outsiders to lay-off and outsource..
The loss of talented, loyal, dedicated employees to this company has been devastating..
