Thread regarding General Atomics layoffs

Building a great career at GA.

GA is a great place to build a career. You can have good money, good job title, promotions, and a healthy work life balance for much of the time.

This is a win win situation. For those who had bad experiences at GA, consider switching teams because there are so many teams that can give you all of the perks Ai mentioned at the start.

Go GA!

GA’s biggest money making contracts we’re selling outdated cheap drones… the company made a lot of money bc no one else was selling cheap drones… GA started hiring like crazy in 2019 just to get contract cancelled and then laid off a massive amount of people…. The contract was cancelled bc all the cheap drones were being shot down by a 3rd world country. Now GA needs to find another program that none of the big boys want to survive…. If you work for a company like this you are not a go getter, someone looking for a challenge! You are looking to survive, to have no competition and to skate by were competitors don’t exist

Lazy and worthless? More like a bunch of people who know how to work smarter, not harder.

Time is money so the more free time you got, the richer you are. Hate all you want but you can’t deny the truth!

Very interesting post that proves there are a ton of lazy and worthless employees at GA. Anyone who has ever worked in the industry knows GA pays below market value and benefits are average at best. Work - life balance is good bc no one works at GA and one is not evaluated on merit but more gender, gender orientation or minority status. GA is a backwards company that would be a horrible place to start a career but a great place to cruise to the finish line.
