I thought all hourly associates got a bonus on a separate check? myloweslife just shows regular paycheck…

When I worked there they judged bonuses by how much it “cost the company .”
If one year they felt like too many people achieved the bonus they would change the structure so fewer would qualify the following year. Was just silly. Usually bonuses were based on things completely out of our control. (Store light h at and cooling expenses for example)

The same thing happened recently (last quarter?) when they announced that millions of dollars were being used to boost the quarterly bonuses to associates. Specialists did not get any additional money. They have always shown contempt for specialists. Oh, they want the high production with minimal incentive and reward for such production. It's only when the numbers are off that they notice the specialists. They show no real value in us and this is just another example.
Cuts backs ,too much on 1 check .The $650 after taxes ,wow almost did not notice .

I noticed that too. I think that’s ridiculous. Melvin should say up front who’s excluded. This company has shown contempt for the employees.
