Being realistic about the time and effort required to get a new job, I have enormous anxiety about what will happen if I lose my job. Anyone managing to stay focused at work?

The biggest professional disappointment in my career, ever, has been working for GF. You can get a glimpse of that by noticing they love to hire only new college graduates. If you have no other options, then it's decent enough to support your family, but you should heavily consider any other offer if possible.
I am in GF since 2009 when GF was created and it feels worse compared to any time in past. Atmosphere is depressing and I see everyone around me so demoralized. GF was never able to have its own culture just because the way it was created but we had good talent on past who were accomplished leaders. With all those talent and leaders leaving GF in last few years, what we are left with are scraps, junks and mediocre employees who had no knowledge of industry and were failed people who could not find the job outside GF. Now all those incompetent, corrupt, lazy and political guys are holding management positions in GF. With TC like CEO who survived on lies and deceptions throughout his tenure, GF is living he-l. Hope I can escape soon as this place is impacting mental health. No hopes .. no motivation.. no leadership .. no future ..
If you are feeling above , trust me you are not alone. Just get your resume polished and start looking for job.
Yes everyone is hiring and expanding. GF only one going opposite direction
Honestly @dfe+1jXHOHcR - fu-k them. It won’t help you and they won’t remember in 6 months.
Worry about paying your bills and yourself
Working hard and putting in extra hours to complete all my projects by year end. I am exiting GF in January and do not want to burden my team.
Same here. Can not focus on work. Am updating my resume as well. Heard Wolfspeed, micron and Intel are going to hire big way soon next year.
Updating resume, checking stocks and connections on LinkedIn.
