Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Kmart store finder

So the Kmart store finder site, has changed somewhat. Gone are the state by state (invariably incorrect) listings that used to be there:

https://www.kmart.com/stores

The only way to search now, appears to be by zip code. Of course there are only 3 stateside stores (with another 4 in USVI, & 1 in Guam), so there really isn't much to search for LOL! But at least they changed it a bit, from before.

When I punch in zip code, 14810, it shows a store in Bath NY (which of course closed, Ages ago), LOL!

The same thing was done to the Sears store locator a few weeks earlier. It seems more up to date, though, not showing any closed stores that I could find.

Not sure why this harmless comment was deleted, but what I posted before was, that I tried the OP's above-linked, website, and put in a NJ zip code (07470), and it listed BRIDGEHAMPTON NY, WALL, WESTWOOD, KEARNEY NJ.

Obviously Wall and Kearney closed some Time ago, so the site is not accurate. I also put in some California zips, and GRASS VALLEY Kmart (which is also closed), still shows up. So the site isn't accurate.

Not sure why they are still so cryptic about the store counts. Maybe Ed is so embarrassed about the fact that there are only 8 stores left and he still thinks he can somehow hide that.
