FIS senior staff planned for these layoffs over two years ago. They hired a lot of people in India in preparation for cutting the American workforce. We have been training our replacements for two years. They have to layoff American workforce to cover up their theft of company funds. Same old story. Different crooks.

You’re training India because they do the same or a better job for less money. Stop behaving like union labor and things might change.
The India staff is not very adept at critical/high priority issues that the client faces. They are ok with well defined steps/project work, but generally they do not hang around long enough to really gain any level of expertise or become subject matter experts.
They are laying off a alot of people in india...
