Hopefully we get some good talent in this company for the new year.
I know this company is far from perfect and there are lots of bad apples, but let’s not discredit the many great men and women that also work here. That’s fact.

36 software developers were transferred in July from Mission Systems to Aircraft Systems because their previous projects were halted "temporarily." That's one way avoid paying severance when you lay them off, because they will have already left for better pastures.
There is no need to be a cheerleader. Why don't you address the problems instead of putting lipstick on a pig?
I guess you are right! McDonalds does look to hiring former GA workers while Raytheon, Northrop and Lockheed view long term GA workers as the plague
I didn’t say other “defense” companies, just companies in general.
Also GA is not laying off because they have a great backlog and business is booming!
GA is okay if you go there for the right reasons. I will say that GA is a horrible place to start a career. One will only gain bad habits, work with outdated processes and obtain a bad work ethic. But if you are at the end of your career and just looking to coast… work a 9 to 5 or even a 10 to 2 …. GA can be a great place for you. GA really doesn’t care about bottom line which is bad if you are looking to advance your career on merit… but good if you are looking to coast to the finish line… so it all depends on where you are in your career and how motivated you are to make a difference at a company or just coast.
Which defense contractors are laying off right now? None of the big 3 are laying off, all big 3 are hiring like crazy. Can you share which defense contractors are laying off at this moment?
