Back to layoffs again since Vena became CEO. Laid off 14 in Houston. 3 machinist 3 mso 3 electricians and 5 in Beaumont.
No, they are still understaffed in operations and can’t handle additional business. They tried to handle more grain carloads and broke the network again. I see them freezing hiring at the glass palace and letting attrition cull the herd. Contractors will make lots of money.
I think they are coming. They have a hiring freeze on mechanical jobs unless extreme need. This is how it starts

You won’t get any real information on this site any longer. When the site first started it was a great place to hear what was going on around the company.
