And I've got bad news to the potato growers... Independent farmers are a thing of the past. Giant corporations own nearly 100% of farming in this country. Those potato farmers will work day and night for the corporation and be paid very little while the corporation rakes in the profits.
Just like Ford does to their employees. Most people hate unions, but I do like that they force the executives to pay the line workers what they're worth. We just need to get the lazy workers out of there! Oh, and the executives don't cut their pay - not ever - they just raise prices!
Engineering jobs are moving to India!
United States will grow potatoes!

All layoffs will continue for the next 2 years in bits and pieces everywhere.
