Anyone would care to chime in with a prediction about potential Cummins layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

It has started at DARLINGTON DEP UK 25 to be laid off from the supply chain team
We will ride the natural attrition wave and avoid layoffs, that means we will let the smart people that are marketable and can easily find a job , go, and hang on to the bottom of the barell, beurocratic, brown nosing ahles !! The very people that are responsible for smart people to leave! This company seriously needs to get out of the inbred small town mentality and think big, but with generations of bottom of barell stock now running the show , will make it impossible! If you can find a job, don’t wait for the severance package, avoid stomach ulcers and leave now! It’s only a matter of time before they start chopping people! It gets ugly very quickly..all the do nothing, power point making directors will survive and the real value adding worker bees will be chopped!
Any layoffs in the uk all the older workers at DARLINGTON DEP would go place gone to the dogs.
Possible bad news coming
Cummins realizes the severe costs it takes to on-board new workers after a mass layoff; therefore, it is not in their interest to do so. Trust me, your jobs are safe. If you spent half as much time not worrying about these things and putting it towards your work, Cummins wouldn't be forced to higher H1Bs in even greater numbers.
AOP cut across the board is true
How many? 2000 again?
AOP (Annual Operating Plan) is calling for 2023 year-end headcount about 12 - 15% across the board, with some functions having more reductions than others. Cummins will hopefully absorb this through normal attrition and simply not backfill people leaving the company. However, I predict that if not on track for this, we'll start seeing significant layoffs in Q2.
Usually it's Q4.... Sometimes carries over into Q1 but I've not heard anything to make it sound like a layoff is planned immediately. Just indicated a downturn coming. I'd still bet Q4 but haven't heard much. Would be interested in what others are hearing.
yes
Mar/Apr likely
Is this a prediction? Or is there confirmation that layoffs will be happening?
Q1 layoffs
