If the market makes a turn soon, do you think there will be Emerson Electric layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Individual Contributor layoffs AT AUSTIN TX HQ are happening TODAY.
I know the individuals WELL. Bloody upsetting to many of us.
Yes, November wave of layoffs at the new NI test and measurement unit have already occurred. A December wave of layoffs also was announced November 2. Layoff victims receive only 1 week notice. Selections are generally perceived by subject matter experts who remain to make very little sense. A number of executives and legal staff were immediately laid off, many with one week notice given, on the date of closing of the Emerson acquisition back in October.
More layoffs in the horizon. KY, MI, NJ and VA mainly.
I believe KBB leaves at end of December.
KBB is still around. Why?
Not trying to be rude, but what do you expect if the market takes a turn? Over the last few years we have witnessed what the company will do. So to answer your question, yes there will be layoffs which is to be expected with any publicly traded company.
As sure as night turns to day.
Bulanda is the first sacrificial lamb, announced today. No doubt there are more changes to come.
With org announcements for both the blackstone piece and auto sol,
I imagine a few more high level folks will be gone after the sale is complete.
