How are you all fairing the day after Thanksgiving and trains are all tied down and lot of short on crews everywhere.
Been called since 0500 hours ran 1 z and going after a manifest lumber heavy off district because Bakersfield is short and 5 are tied down trying to get south.

I didn’t know the network was this brittle.
Short on crews cuz people mark off. And we wonder why they want to go to single-man crews or autonomous trains. We’re our own worst enemy.
Not UP’s fault employees don’t want to work. Some abuse every avenue they can leaving their hardworking peers to pick up the work.
