Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Happy Thanksgiving! A note from Don Hendricks

Well, it’s that time of year again!
Belk is still hanging on and 2022 is almost at an end! I’ve been able to take over as CEO and not even leave my home state of Massachusetts, where there are no Belk stores! for all the fulfillment associates working thanksgiving day, thank you! While you are picking, packing, and sorting, i will be relaxing at my vacation home!
And to all the store managers who made a fuss about being open on thanksgiving for fulfillment , you know belk can’t go a day without making money!
And last but not least, to the former CEO’s of belk, my heart is with you! It’s a thankless job, but atleast I get a huge bonus!

Don surrounds himself with people when he visits stores, nobody can approach him or ask questions, that in and of itself is a huge red flag.

Sometimes it is not the people on the top wishing to change and show honesty or sincerity. It is the fake mask that falls off. Thank you Don Hendricks for running Belk company with a lot of honesty, integrity and caring so much for Belk associates! What a fake Belk CEO!

Don’t forget when don referred to store associates and managers as “those people”

The last time Don Hendricks was physically in a store was late 2021.

Heheheheh! Probably what he's thinking.

He IS the guy, after all, who was seen waving and gulping coffee (with an exaggerated "Aaahhhhh!!!") in the corporate video released to everyone going back to work during the Covid outbreak. Those top dawgs were living their Best Life while others risked theirs (or left for good!).
