The only guarantee is that Mike and his henchmen will ensure they benefit greatly in the end. Employees and the stockholders will get crumbs. You watch, no matter how badly the company does this year they'll find a way to stuff their pockets anyway. Stockholders are stuck with shares they overpaid for and are just hanging on trying to minimize their loses hoping something will change.

I suspect they could not sell it because nobody want both parts. So they split it in two and will eventually sale.

There are only 2 guarantees in life so just live and worry about what you can control. I would be happy if I got a RIF notice sad to say but a lot of people feel the same.
