Never forget what a vile terrible organization this really is with its toxic "culture" and fake diversity. Lying leaders with zero backbone and directors and officers who are rotten to their slimy cores. There is a special place in He-l for these people and I wish them nothing but the worst on this Thanksgiving day.

I am grateful. I stayed with this dumpster fire company for many years. I finally left for a competitor and for the first time had the day after Thanksgiving off! Amazing. And actually I was given 9 company holiday PTO days vs Allstate giving five. It is amazing the cultural differences between Allstate and other carriers. I really wasn’t sure about leaving but now I look back and can’t imagine what I was thinking. From a workload, cultural, compensation, benefits, and developmental standpoint, Allstate just blows. Glad and thankful to be out! Not to mention how bad the claims leaders are particularly on the eastern coast!
Tom is giving a holiday bonus of a tube of KY for Christmas in their corporate stockings……..it will make his job much “easier.”
Hopefully, he will also give one to customers with each policy sold.

Every company I ever worked for laid of right before TG because they are budgeting for the coming calendar year.
Actually the end date was the day after Thanksgiving per the paper work. Yes impacted employees got the legally required 60 day notice in September but these lovely people made sure Thanksgiving weekend was the actual "release" date. Such gems. And thanks for chiming in handler. Are Tom and the gang paying you holiday pay for monitoring this site today?
Nope. They laid you off in sept, than allowed you to stay for 2 months doing nothing getting paid till black Friday.
Nobody got laid off on Thanksgiving.
