Strike

It’s looking increasingly likely that there will be a potential US rail strike, which would cause major disruptions throughout the supply chain. 35-40% of all ocean containers move by rail. There is not enough trucking capacity to make up for the loss of rail.

Not our job to suffer so the rest of the country doesn't. Has nothing to do with wanting to see the world burn.
We showed up during the pandemic while family and coworkers died alone in hospitals. Don't try and guilt trip us because billionaire investors and millionaire CEO's don't care about the rest of us.

I really wouldn't bet on it! There's teams of people right now waiting for the deadline to get closer, so they can push legislation to prevent it. I'm sure this will get a few down votes, because of the few people that want to see the world burn and teach the railroads a lesson. My only issue with that is the rest of the country. I'd like to see the railroads get taught a lesson, but I don't want to see the rest of the country to share in that lesson either.

That's good! The selfish carriers will give in.
