Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Project management is being cut. Outsourced to MPM.

MPM's winning all around so my fellow project managers and I are getting ready to jump ship before NCR sets an expiration date on us.

Yes, NCR has been showing its colors for some years - yellow. If you think you are safe forget it. I was let go so the VP of Development and support could bring in his lover from California. No wonder he made so many trips out west. NCR’s stock has not changed, for years. Good purchase, well if you just want to maintain, maybe a good purchase. (Thirty dollars today, ten years later it is thirty-two dollars. - great purchase) In other words, poor company. They moved the company to downtown Atlanta to be close to Georgia Tech, how was that move? Poor decisions. Poor management equals tons of layoffs. Thank you very much. Sink the ship !!

Wow another d-mb decision by NCR.
NCR outsourced their move to the Oracle ERP Cloud and we see how that turned out....yep cr-p show, delay after delay, took forever to cleanup the mess, burned out employees and in the end they ended up with sh-t! ERP prem was way better than ERP Cloud. NCR PM's had to step in and push Accenture and the Team to try to salvage the mess.

Now they want to outsource PM's, you got to be joking! What d-mb a-s is steering the ship into a sink ho-e!

PMs are the best people for putting up with all our BS.

And yes, I'm not sure what MPM is either. Any info?

I know some really good PMs so this is bad news. NCR just keeps getting better and better LOL. Not familiar with MPM if anyone can explain

Namer only. Specifically going to impact charter retail projects that haven't transitioned to paid projects yet.
